Welcome to St. Hannah’s School, where we have been shaping young minds and empowering students for over four decades. It is my great pleasure to share with you the incredible journey of our institution and the milestones we have achieved together.
In 1980, St. Hannah’s School was incorporated, and in 1981, we opened our doors as a small kindergarten with just six pupils. From that humble beginning, we have grown into a renowned educational institution with multiple campuses, providing quality education to a diverse student body.
To meet the increasing demand and provide dedicated primary education facilities, we opened our primary wing at Three Dee Lane, Karen, in 1985. In 1998, the kindergarten at Kindaruma Road relocated to the present-day Ngong Road Campus, and a second primary campus was established, offering larger and better facilities for clients residing in Kilimani and the surrounding areas.
In 2000, boarding facilities were introduced at the Karen campus. This initiative has allowed us to accommodate students from outside Nairobi and neighboring countries, ensuring their holistic development and academic success. That same year, we marked an exciting new chapter with the establishment of a mixed boys and girls high school at our Three Dee Lane campus.
On January 7, 2002, the boys’ high school moved to the Ngong Road campus, providing separate spaces for boys and girls. In September 2002, a purpose-built campus on Karen Plains Road became the permanent home for the boys’ high school, offering an optimal learning environment.
On January 6, 2013, the high school girls moved to their own campus at Farm Lane, Karen, creating a specialized setting tailored to the needs of female students, fostering their academic and personal development.
On January 23, 2023, St. Hannah’s School expanded into Kiambu County, opening its fifth campus. This expansion reflects the school’s commitment to providing quality education to more areas in the country.
At St. Hannah’s School, we recognize that our journey and accomplishments have been possible because of God’s never-ending favor and grace. We are also grateful to our dedicated staff and supportive parents. We are proud of our incredible students, whose hard work, resilience, and achievements inspire us every day.
As we forge ahead into the future, we remain committed to transforming students into achievers, leaders, and agents of change.
Thank you for being part of the St. Hannah’s School community, and we are excited to embark on this journey of growth and excellence with you.
Together we Excel,
Violet Ndehi
